tan care · after your appointment
While your tan develops
Keep your skin dry and avoid sweating until your first rinse. Avoid exercise for 24–48 hours. Stay in loose clothing and remove tight socks. If your technician has instructed you to leave the tan on overnight, wear a loose long-sleeve shirt and loose trousers.
First rinse timing
Always follow the specific rinse time your technician provides. General ranges are Classic (regular): 8–12 hours; Rapid (express): 2–6 hours, depending on your desired colour and your technician’s instructions. Only leave your tan on overnight if your technician specifically instructs you to do so; this is not suitable for every formula.
Your first rinse
Rinse using warm water only, without soap. Use your hands gently to help remove the bronzer and continue until the water runs clear. If bronzer streaks remain, rinse again gently. Pat dry, then moisturise according to your technician’s care instructions.
Second shower
Your second shower may be that evening or the following morning; follow your technician’s instructions on timing. Body wash may be used at this shower, but please avoid Dove products. Use warm water, pat dry and moisturise again.
Maintain your glow
Moisturise twice daily and stay hydrated.
